With the hike in the price that hit almost four-decade high. Almost 40% of the owners of crypto currency in US say that they view the digital assets to be the proper hedge against the inflation.

Among all the US respondents, that consist of mainly those who are not holders. Just 16% saw the crypto as wonderful way for protecting their wealth from simply losing value with the increase in the level of inflation.

Here, US is also grappling with their highest rate of inflation ever since 1982. It driven by the pandemic pressures along with quite recently by impact of the Russia’s war on the Ukraine. It is related to food prices and energy in specific. Increasing prices wear away the worth of the US dollar. It takes almost much of the currency to purchase the services and goods.

The international cryptocurrency investment took a hit at the turning point in the year 2021.  The report also driven by inflation along with the push to simply diversify.

However, among various US respondents, that includes the majority which are not the holders. Just 16% of the people saw crypto being the wonderful way for protecting the wealth. It is from simply losing value with the increase in inflation. The huge majority of the crypto owners in buy & then hold the crypto currency for the potential of long-term investment.
