Ukraine’s Central Bank, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), proclaimed last Friday that it had restricted <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto purchases. The Ukraine government has limited the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto purchases using the country’s local currency as part of efforts to prevent capital outflows amid martial law.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, declared martial law in Ukraine on February 24, when Russia launched its war on Ukraine.

Recently, last Friday, the Ukrainian Central Bank announced a series of restrictions on cross-border “quasi-cash transactions”. These transactions will involve <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>cryptocurrency, and they are using its national fiat currency. As a result, the new limitation will restrict the local citizens from buying <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto coins with the national fiat currency, the hryvnia (UAH).

According to the NBU’s announcement, Ukrainians may now buy quasi-cash assets. These assets will involve digital assets, traveler’s checks, and forex accounts. The limit will be up to a limit of 100,000 UAH ($3,400) per month only with foreign currencies.

Moreover, Ukraine’s Central Bank has considered <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto purchases as “quasi cash transactions”. They are considered <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto purchases with operations such as travel payments, electronic wallet deposits, and foreign exchange transactions. The Central Bank has adopted restrictions on such transactions. The ultimate purpose is to prevent the “unproductive outflow of capital” from the nation amid martial law.

As per the NBU, “The relevant changes will help improve the foreign exchange market. This is a prerequisite for easing future restrictions and reducing pressure on Ukraine’s international reserves.”

The Ukrainian Central Bank acknowledged that the demand for international transactions has significantly increased in the midst of martial law.

<a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Crypto’s Role in The War and Supporting Ukraine Government

Ever since the start of the war in late February, <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto assets have been helping to raise millions of dollars for Ukraine’s government as it fights off the Russian invasion.

From the beginning, the use of <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto was part of Ukraine’s strategy. The government officials are using Twitter accounts to share details of <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto wallets, where donations can be made.

Just four days after the invasion, Ukraine raised $10.2 million. And the success story continued. So far, the Ukrainian government has raised more than $100 million through <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto donations. <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Cryptocurrency has proven to be an effective and fast approach for the Ukrainians to get immediate funding for supplies.

Over the weekend, the Ukrainian government requested funds from the public in the wake of the attack on its territory by Russia as diplomatic ties between both countries went soar. The whole public, particularly the crypto-savvy population, has shown solidarity with Ukraine. So, in solidarity, the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto community has raised more than $10 million since the call.

Earlier, the official Twitter account of the government of Ukraine published an Ethereum (ETH) and a <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin (BTC) address.

Moreover, a review of the transactions on each address has shown that the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin address has received a total of 105.90889317 BTC Which is worth exactly $4,121,654.28 at the time of writing. The address also showed that a total of 51.38803002 BTC worth about $2 million have also been sent out from the received funds.

Donations to Ukrainian Government

In addition, the Ethereum address has also received as much as 1,877.942342838664117164 Ethereums. The valuation is currently pegged at $5,198,426.10. Beyond these two addresses, independent well-wishers have also listed some Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on OpenSea. The sole aim of donate the funds to the Ukrainian government. The amount raised from these NFTs has topped $1 million as of the time of writing.

Furthermore, a Tron address was tweeted by Ukrainian vice prime minister Mikhail Fedorov. This has also accrued some $700,000 worth of TRX and <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>USDT at the time of writing.

This will cause in people’s lives, and these funds will go a long way in providing the right cushion.

To conclude, this ease at which the Ukrainian government requested the funds follows from the legalization of <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

With Ukraine receiving digital currencies with open arms, the country also has to reap the dividends thereof.

This is the Catch 22 condition for Fed, with the specific geopolitical uncertainty. It is simply posing risk to the stability of <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin, financial market. The oil which move more than $100 possibly to boost inflation.

Putin, The Federal Reserve Chairman had announced the cancellation of the hike of March rate as well as extension to QE. Joel Heyman, actor and producer had tweeted on Thursday subsequent to Putin’s war Russian President Vladimir on the Ukraine sent the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>bitcoin to the 1 month lows. It is below $35,000 along with S&P 500 futures which is down by almost 730 points.

Sarcastic tweet on <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin

Heyman’s this is somewhat quite much sarcastic tweet which is calling Putin as a chairman of U.S. Federal Reserve that simply mirrors with recent sentiments of <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto market. It is where the traders are planning for geopolitical indecision and for the instability in asset market. It would also force U.S. central bank to get headed to abandon any such kind of the plans for simply unwinding the liquidity-boosting along with the stimulus measures. This may also bode well for the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>bitcoin as the <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto currency also has seen a drop of almost 40% in last three months. It mainly on the fears of Fed rate hike.

The experts do not predict U-turn by Fed. “This is really hard to simply imagine the Fed absolutely walking through their plans for the hike in the month of March. There is absolutely no doubt that the inflationary pressures would even arise from such kind of the surge in the commodity prices. Ukraine and Russia also stay to be the biggest exporters of different precious agriculture and metals.

Catch 22 Situation

Indeed, this is now turning as the Catch 22 situation for the geopolitical doubt. It posing the threat to the stability of financial market and economy.

There was a dip seen in <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin for below the level of $40,000 over weekend and it also kept weakening with the deepening of Ukraine crisis, declining the argument which <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto currency is the haven during any such kind of the geopolitical chaos.

The drop in <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin for 2 weeks and above lead to low as fears for the probable Russian attack of Ukraine that has prompted few of the analysts to predict biggest <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto currency can also slide toward level of $30,000.

Impact of geopolitical chaos – Continuous drop in <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>bitcoin

<a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin dropped again for consecutive sixth day, thereby touching the low level of $36,372 after Vladimir Putin, Russian President said that he is now recognizing 2 self-proclaimed nationalist republics in the eastern Ukraine & also ordering the troops. Other <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto currency even took a dip, with Ether off to be 2.9% along with XRP moving down to 6.7%.

The dip in <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin below the level of $40,000 kept on weakening as there was high crisis and geopolitical chaos. On the other hand, gold has also attained the highest level ever since June.

In latest maelstrom of the globe for U.S. and for Russia and for Ukraine. <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin, where the asset purported for being the key answer to each such question, has now quietly weakened as well as it is notably failing for their arch-enemy, gold. Roque has also predicted the fact that <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin might also fall for less than $30,000. It is the level which hasn’t seen since the month of July. Since the traders progressively favor for gold, possibly pushing bullion to the record high.

Inability to hold the level of $40,000 by <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536><a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>Bitcoin amid sharp Ukraine strains. It means $30,000 is now back in the play. Geopolitics now has replaced inflation as a key driver of traditional & <a class="lar-automated-link" href="https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=42224911" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" 4536>crypto markets.
