Just Now: Robinhood Markets has announced that 1.6 million people are on the waitlist for their cryptocurrency wallet.
The CEO of Robinhood Crypto, Christine Brown, recently declared that figure is up from 1 million in just a few weeks.
Brown further said that their Retail Broker’s wallet is all set to be launched in the first quarter of 2022 at a conference held by Yahoo Finance and Decrypt. Furthermore, the executives did not provide other details about the matter.
Moreover, Robinhood let its users shift supported digital currencies back and forth from their brokerage firm. In September, they announced that they had planned to start testing the cryptocurrency wallets in October.
The firm has also started its plans to survey its present crypto trading customers in the upcoming new weeks. They want to start testing the new wallets and offer feedback. Further, they share the feedback and acknowledge it publically via their Social Media account of Twitter and blogs.
Last month the firm announced the Crypto Revenue amount of $233 million in the second quarter. Additionally, the $51 million in the third quarter made a 78% decrease compared to the previous quarter.
In compliance with the Company’s Q3 report published on October 2, its crypto reported for $51 million (19%) out of the total $267 million worth of transaction-based revenue in the quarter.
