Satoshi Nakamoto’s Important Bitcoin Money Message Cited by Samson Mow

Date:

Samson Mow, the CEO of Bitcoin-focused company Jan3 and a significant advocate for BTC, recently highlighted a quote from the enigmatic Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, on his X platform account. This statement, while not explicitly mentioning Bitcoin, alludes to the digital currency as a revolutionary form of money that can be exchanged over the internet without needing a third-party intermediary.

Nakamoto’s discourse traces the evolution of money, noting that historically, societies have adopted various scarce commodities such as shells or stones. However, with the advent of the internet, a new form of valuable commodity has emerged that can be traded digitally, paving the way for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Mow is also optimistic about Bitcoin’s price, suggesting that it will soon surpass the $60,000 mark again. He emphasizes that the opportunity to buy Bitcoin under this price is closing quickly, especially as the market recovers from a recent 12% drop which saw prices dip below $57,000. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at around $58,990, showing a strong rebound.

This optimism comes amidst various market pressures, including the imprisonment of Binance founder CZ and a decision by the FOMC to maintain current interest rates, which have influenced Bitcoin’s recent price fluctuations.
