The top cryptocurrencies have been struggling to gain. The prices of top tokens reamined more or less static over the weekend with little changes. The pressure from sell-off continues to take a toll on the value of the top tokens.
Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency tokens, have been trading below the $32,000 mark. The top cryptocurrency is struggling to stay above the $30,000 mark amidst sell pressure. While Bitcoin at its peak had crossed the total market capitalization of one trillion dollars, currently, it’s down by over 40% to $594 billion.
On the other hand, the biggest altcoin by market size Ethereum continues to trade below the $2000 mark. Ether’s downward trend is recurring and the tokens have only lost value over the past week. On Monday, the second leading tokens were exchanging ownership below $1,900 and had dropped by over 3% in value in the past 24 hours. It’s market capitalization stands at $221.33 billion.
The other major cryptocurrencies also dropped in value. All tokens like XRP, Cardano, Stellar, Dogecoin, Chainlink, Polkadot, and Litecoin have been trading lower than what they were just a few weeks ago. The bearish momentum in the market and no positive developments has made it rather static.
