The US branch of the world-leading Binance exchange in the US is opening an office in Portals. The Portal is the Metaverse platform on the Solana blockchain.
Basically, Portals is a web-based metaverse platform that allows users to explore buildings and interactive rooms. Further, Cityscape is also presented on this platform, a metaverse city.
Though, the Binance exchange is not the only exchange with the portal’s building space. Chris Lund, Head of Community and Partnerships at Portals, said FTX.US, an offshoot of U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange FTX, will also establish its own office at Portals.
Further, Lund said that:
“The expansion of Binance US’s office in the virtual world aims to become a gathering place for exchange users.”
Additionally, other projects on the Solana blockchain, including Magic Eden, Audius, Raydium and Bonfida, will set up their own offices in this virtual world.
Furthermore, many companies and celebrities are rushing to enter the open metaverse.
In one of the blockchain news on January 7, Samsung Electronics America is defining the scope of its metaverse ambitions. They have launched a new store known as Samsung 837x on the famous Decentraland.
Further, the Professional drone racing League joined the Metaverse world by launching its first game on the Algorand blockchain in collaboration with Playground Labs on Jan 6.
