Last updated: 28 October 2026
CryptoUpdate.io covers crypto, stocks, forex, commodities and AI in finance. This page explains how our articles are produced, what we check, how we make money and how to report a mistake. We would rather tell you plainly how the site works than leave you guessing.
Who writes our articles
News articles appear under the shared byline CryptoUpdate Newsroom. We do not attach invented reporter names or stock photos to articles. Earlier in 2026 some articles carried individual “staff” bylines that did not correspond to real people. We have removed those bylines and moved every article to the newsroom byline.
How news articles are produced (AI-assisted)
Most short news articles on this site are AI-assisted rewrites of reports by other publishers:
- Stories are picked from the TradingView News feed, which syndicates publishers such as Reuters, Cointelegraph, The Block, NewsBTC, Dow Jones Newswires and press-release wires.
- A large language model summarises the report and rewrites it in our format: headline, summary, context and key takeaways.
- Every such article ends with a Source note that names the original publisher and links to the original report. Figures and quotes come from that report. If our article and the source disagree, the source is the reference. Please tell us about the discrepancy.
Featured images on news articles are usually AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of the events described.
Editorial review
Since October 2026 our automated publishing pipeline is paused. From now on we publish news articles only after an editor has checked them against the source: the names, numbers, dates and quotes, and that the headline matches what the source actually says.
Many articles published between April and October 2026 went out automatically, with no individual human review. We are reviewing that archive. We have taken articles that were thin or repeated the same topic out of search results, and we retired older short news posts published between 2021 and April 2026.
Longer guides and explainers are researched and written with primary sources (regulators, central banks, exchanges, official documentation) cited inline. We update them when the underlying facts change.
What we do not do
- We do not present price predictions as facts. When we report forecasts, we say whose forecast it is and link to it.
- We do not give personal investment advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Crypto assets and leveraged trading carry a high risk of loss.
- Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review or approve our articles before publication.
Advertising and affiliate links
CryptoUpdate.io is funded by advertising and affiliate links. Some articles contain an affiliate link, for example to the Gate.com exchange. If you sign up through it, we may earn a commission. These links are marked rel="sponsored", appear at most once per partner per article, and the article carries a disclosure line. Banners on the site are advertisements. A partner relationship does not change what we report about that partner.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, email [email protected] with the article URL and what is wrong (a link to a better source helps). We correct factual errors as soon as we have verified them. If a correction changes the meaning of an article, we add a dated note at the end of it. If we cannot verify a story, we remove it.
